What’s Cooper Like at 5 Months Old?

IMG_3025

He has grown and changed so much, we don’t even know where to start!

The most noteworthy things this month are:

- He sleeps without a swaddle.

- He loves interacting with us, his toys, and he’s ga-ga over Phin.

- He holds toys easily now and reaches for them and picks them up.

- He can put in own soother in his mouth.

- Everything goes in the mouth.

- He not only knows his own name now, but he knows Phinnegan, mommy and daddy’s name. When I say, ‘where’s Phin?’, he looks around the room until he spots him.

- He sits up on his own unassisted (but still topples after a few minutes)

- He sits up in his highchair at the dinner table with us.

- He enjoys his walks in the stroller now. He looks around at the world and doesn’t cry.

- He loves watching mommy brush her teeth, and joins in with his own toothbrush on his gums.

- He has cut his bottom 2 front teeth.

- He rolls over from back to front on demand

- He scoots a few feet for toys.

- His eyes are still blue – no signs of changing at all yet.

- His hair is coming in slowly but surely.

- He watches his baby videos on TV and can’t peel his eyes away.

- He makes hilarious screaming sounds and knows he being funny.

- He only poops once every few days. And it has changed to a browner color and is thicker consistency.

- He’s now taking naps in his crib, and we’ve started a new bed-time routine with him (Stay tuned for details in the next post.)

- The only thing that hasn't changed, is that he's still growing strong and eating every 2 hours. Growing growing growing!!

  1. My goodness, he's so advanced! I wish we lived closer so our sons can play. :)
