Going For Gold!

Mommy and Cooper went to stroller strides today – and the theme was MOMMY OLYMPICS. We all had to come representing our country colors. Good thing mommy and Cooper already had their Canada outfits!

Mommy dressed Cooper all up in his Canada outfit, with the hat and mitts that Nana bought him (and mommy FORGOT to bring the the actual Olympics last weekend --- baaaaaad mommy!) Isn’t he ADORABLE???

We had tons of fun at class – and mommy and Cooper even won a Gold medal for most team spirit! I think the outfits were the clincher… I must say we did look pretty cute representing!

Noticed she didn’t win for any medals for the actual exercising events (lol). But perhaps we did burn off some of that peanut butter and chocolate mommy chowed down on last night!

We stayed after class for coffee and a chat and Cooper was MESMORIZED by all the other babies – crawling past him and playing with each other. He was so excited to be a part of it and I think some of the older babies who were crawling, gave him some good ideas!

Of course, afterwards we walked home and he fell fast asleep. Zonked from all the fun.

Afterwards, he sported his outfit while playing with his new red ball on his mat. Every Olympic athlete needs a ball after all!!

Even Phin joined in the fun – as Cooper and Phinnegan practiced ‘synchronized sitting’! And mommy awarded them the Gold medal of course.

Meanwhile, the Canadian men curling team is going for GOLD tomorrow. Cooper is all ready to watch and cheer on his papa’s team. He is SO proud of him and will be cheering (okay squeaking) as loud as he can. And let me tell you – that is loud!

GO CANADA GO! BRING HOME GOLD!!!
