Cooper got into the cute Canada outfit that Nana bought him tonight, and we all got ready to watch the opening ceremonies. Tonight his papa will march into the stadium with team Canada!!!
But darn old NBC didn't even START coverage of the ceremonies until 9pm -- just as the flame was actually being lit in Vancouver. So poor old Cooper only made it until just after the National Athem, and then konked out.
But he had fun trying to wait up!
His mom and dad and nana will tell him all about it when he wakes up tomorrow. We all cheered loud when we saw him march into the stadium -- and we saw a clear shot of him on TV!
And one day papa can tell him all about the real experience -- and how it feels to march out into the actual stadium with all the athletes and wave the Canadian flag high with pride. What a great story that will be for Cooper one day.
Now, on with the games!!!GO PAPA GO -- bring home gold!
