Mommy is TIRED.

Ever since Cooper has been home -- it actually started while we were away (because we were in different beds and sick for 2 weeks) Cooper isn't sleeping through the night anymore. In fact, he's getting up all night every 2 hours to eat, and in between those hours he's restless, stirring like crazy and needing the soother. He is refusing the swaddle anymore and breaks free of it within the first hour, but he's not used to sleeping with his arms free and wiggles like crazy moving his hands and waking himself up all night long. Then during the day, he has resorted to using a LOUD voice all day long as he babbles and plays. It was pretty cute at first, but now mommy is TIRED TIRED TIRED. Where did my content little baby who slept through the night go??? And who used this cute little soft babble as he played???

I must say, I do hope this is just a temporary phase!

It could be a growth spurt, and it could also be that he's teething. I'm not quite sure, but hope to get him sleeping a little longer again SOON SOON SOON!

  1. hello sweetie...

...i don't know if this will help any but...i do so remember those times!...can you just lay down...even beside cooper on the floor & catch a few winks, as much as possible...

...maybe do a trade-off or hire a trusted friend to come over & watch over cooper while you slip up to bed for a much needed rest...(please don't deny yourself this time...as i learned the hard way)...you most definitely deserve/have earned every minute that you spend being good to yourself...because then (by extension) you can be an even better mommy to that most precious fellow...

...as well...(& i do have a good track record...if i do say so myself...), i will send up lots & lots of prayers for you...

...& please, please, please remember that you are a mother-of-the-first-order...naturally gifted, caring & nurturing

...if you need anything, please let me know & together we'll figure out a solution...because i want to believe more & more each day...that there is no problem/challenging situation to which there is not a solution...

    big hugs/kisses, auntie louise
