Cooper was baptized Roman Catholic in St. Anthony’s Church in Kincardine. Look at our little man dressed in his white suit. What a cutie he is!
Here he is with mommy and daddy on his special day.
All dressed up with Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa
The special white baptism blanket that grandma got for him.
Here he is with his Godfather, Uncle Johnny
Unfortunately, due to a terrible snowstorm, his Godmother Aunt Christine couldn’t make it, (so Nana stood in for her as her proxy), but here she is the next day, with her godchild.
It was so great that so many of our families could make it despite the bad weather and we loved celebrating such a special day with all of them.

Great Aunt Mary and Uncle Mike, and Uncle Matthew
Distant Kincardine Scottish cousins, Great Aunt Barb and Uncle Bill.
Father Don started the private ceremony and Cooper was so good for the whole thing.
Cooper was so good and smiled as he was baptized. He got 3 big scoops of water poured on his head – for the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Then he got some oil and the sign of the cross.
Grandma arranged a beautiful reception for everyone afterwards, which was so fun, and Cooper loved every minute of it.
Aunt Kerry and Aunt Ashley.
Cooper with Uncle John, Aunt Jo, and cousins Autumn, Taitum, and Alisha.
Great Uncle Henry (mommy’s godfather) and Great Aunt Terry (mommy’s Godmother) with his godfather, Uncle John.
Nana bought Cooper’s baptism cake (which was so yummy!) and set it out with Big Nana’s serving knife, and Great Nana’s candlabras. This was so special to us. These items were also at daddy’s baptism too!
We know all Cooper’s great grandparents were there in spirit and looking down on him on this special day.
What a great day. Cooper is our miracle from god and it was great to have him baptized surrounded by good family and friends. Thanks to everyone who was there. We love you all.
Aw, thank you for sharing pictures of Cooper's special day. What a cute little outfit he wore! Ronan was baptized November 28th, when he was only 26 days old. So he was a little too small for most outfits (you can see it on my FB). He wore his white footie. Congratulations!! :)
