Cooper Rolls Over and Sleeps 8 Hours!! At 8 weeks old!

Cooper is 8 weeks old today and hit a big milestone -- he rolled over for the first time!! REALLY!

Now, we're not saying we have a genius on our hands, but all the books say that they won't roll from thier stomachs to thier backs until 5 months! Cooper isn't even quite 2 months yet!!

He was having some tummy-time and really getting his head up, and surprised his dad by flinging himself to his left and landing face up on his back! I think he scared himself a bit... he was happy but unsure about what had just happened.

We tried for a repeat performance for the camera, but lightning didn't strike twice -- we just ended up with a very unhappy baby and stressed out mom (he was late for his dinner).

An exciting night! Who knows how long it will be before he does it again!!

And then he continued to amaze us by sleeping 8 hours! He went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at 6:30. Since he usually sleeps around 5 hours, this is BIG news!
