Mommy placed a blanket teddy in his hand and Cooper held on tight. This is the first "stuffed toy" that Cooper has held. I think the blanket is so thin, he can get a good grip. He seemed to really like holding it!
Mommy found a new use for her boppy (the breast feeding pillow). She props Cooper up inside the hole and he just loved it. It's great for supporting him and gives him a great view of everything in the room, rather than just laying flat.
Cooper really checked Phin out today. And Phinnegan was so good, just laying around sharing his bed, and every once in a while giving Cooper a little kiss.
All in all, it was a good day in bed. And even better, the antibiotics are starting to kick in.
So sorry to hear that the mastitis is back.
ReplyDeleteAwww...He's getting so big!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI have probably had 8 bouts of mastitis between the two kids. If you have any questions, let me know. A good resource is Dr. Jack Newman. He is the Canadian expert on breastfeeding. Google his name for his website and link to top-notch handouts. My arsenal for mastitis includes: a hot water bottle, changing nursing positions, lots of water and rest. Extra Vitamin C for its immune boosting effect. The flat end of an electric toothbrush also helps if you have a clogged duct. Take it easy and rest up. Amy in Pickering.
