Cooper had lots of help unpacking this week – his nana came down and worked like crazy, Aunt Helen was here to lend a helping hand, Uncle Henry pitched in, and of course grandma and grandpa and mommy and daddy all worked to try to unpack the main boxes and get the house into livable shape. Mommy was really sick for most of the beginning of the week so we were so lucky to have all the extra hands! And now that mommy is on the mend, she’ll able to do some unpacking herself as well. So far all the major things that came from Seattle are put away (minus a couch and a few boxes that didn’t get delivered, including Cooper’s changing table pad and bumper pads) – all that’s left are a lot of little things, shelves, pictures, knick knacks, some more clothes, bathroom stuff, etc. But the kitchen is in great shape and everything is really coming together! What a fun week of unpacking – and a big thank you to everyone who helped! Cooper expects that because of everyone’s hard work, that he’ll even move in tomorrow night, just in time for the weekend!
Now if only we didn’t have 2 more storage sheds to unpack :)
