Cooper spent the first night in his house on Saturday, after another day of moving in the last few big items. He was so tired he crashed right out in his crib that night and mommy and daddy celebrated with a bottle of wine. Ahhhh. Home sweet home.
Of course, Cooper didn’t sleep very good that night, waking up several (million) times – I think it will take a while for him to get used to his new digs. But once we was in bed with mommy and daddy he fell asleep again and had a nice morning waking up with the whole clan in bed.
It was funny to see Cooper’s changing table back in his new room – of course, none of his shelves are up or clothes put away yet, so it’s a big disorganized. But we’ll get there!
The next morning, grandma and grandpa came over for coffee and to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Cooper was happy to see them and wanted to show off his new (old) high chair.
Phin loves his new home and seeing all his old stuff again. He curled right up and made himself at home.
And Phin isn’t the only one who did – we have some unexpected ‘guests’ that dropped by early on our first morning to say hello and welcome us to the neighbourhood!
Guess Phinnegan isn’t the only one making themselves at home. Lol.
All in all, it’s great to be into our new home and unpacking and settling in and getting to know it. I think we’re going to like it here!
