10 Months Old…

…And ready to go!

Cooper took ONE step today on his own and then fell.  I’m not sure you would really call it a first step, but it was close.  He let go, took one step and then fell.  I don’t think it will be long before he REALLY takes his first step.  

He celebrated his birthday today in style.  Playing, checking out his new house, and going down to the beach to play in the sand.  It was a little too cold for the water, so we kept away from it, but he enjoyed sitting in the sand and using a shovel.   He also tasted a little bit of sand for the first time today.   YUCK!   And he stood up by himself for the first time!   Well, he used a pail for some help.   But he pulled himself up on the pail and then continued to stand all the way up, and let go!

But first, he started the day by cuddling up with mommy this morning like usual – he may be 10 months old, but he’s still her little baby.   We had lots of good morning hugs and kisses and mommy laughed while Cooper made all his funny sounds and faces

I love waking up and cuddling with mommy.   I always make her smile with my crazy antics!

 

 

Mommy thinks I look like a little bird in this one.

On second thought, maybe I’ll go back to sleep for a while.   This bed is so comfy!

 

I wanted to dress up for my birthday today – so I put on the cute little cords, golfshirt, and polo sweater-vest that nana bought for me.   I’m totally Styling!

Thanks for the pail and shovel grandma – I’m not sure what to do with them yet, but I think they’re going to be fun!
