16 Months Old

Our little miracle turns 16 months old today.   And he is the greatest joy of our life.

Cooper had a couple of snow days this week where he enjoyed playing on his new sled.  And we went to a special Christmas service at the funeral home to remember grandma this week too.

I can’t believe Cooper is 16 months old today, and tomorrow is one month since his grandma passed away.  It’s been a difficult month because we miss grandma so very much, but we are all looking forward to getting away next week to go to Florida.

As for Cooper, he’s 16 months and changing and growing every single day.  He’s trying new words and understands so much now.   He’s also starting to get a little mind of his own finally and just started throwing some tantrums if he doesn’t get his own way.  I fear we may be heading into the terrible two’s early!  Just kidding Cooper, we are enjoying every single second.   You are our little miracle and we love every single minute of being with you.  You are such a good boy.

Snowed in…

Here’s Cooper sitting on the potty.  He doesn’t go yet, and he doesn’t really even like to sit on it, but he LOVES his potty video, so maybe it won’t be long…

And he loves his books!  In fact, books are his favorite toy this month.  He would rather look through a book than play with anything.  He’s obessed with getting them out and turning the pages and he’s getting really good at pointing out what is on each page.  He can’t say everything yet, though he tries, but he definitely knows what each picture is.

Hurray!  I think he likes it.

Cooper loves pointing to eyes, ears, noses, mouth and hair on us.  So it’s no surprise he loves to point them out on the Snowman too.

This picture makes me laugh…. he’s getting frustrated in the snow.  His snowsuit is so bulky he can’t get up.

Help me mommy!  I’m stuck!

What a sweet little guy, and so handsome all dressed up.  My heart explodes whenever I look at his sweet little face.
