Cooper wasn’t too sure about Halloween at first. He did NOT want to dress up in his costume, watch or read any books about Halloween, or have anything to do with it. But we managed to FINALLY coax his costume on him and took him to a Halloween party at the local library which was great fun for our little guy!
Okay, Cooper, let’s go inside!
Hey, wait a minute! Halloween isn’t so bad after all!
Cooper had fun running around and seeing all the other kids in costume.
But pretty soon it was time for our little lion to go home and get to bed. That’s okay Cooper, the real Halloween is tomorrow!
We found a cute little pumpkin patch, which Cooper thought was fun to stop and play.
Then back to the hotel for our little ‘in-room’ Halloween party.
Grandpa bought Cooper was seasame Street figures playing in a band and Cooper LOVED them.
He also liked his Halloween straw and his flashlight.
mmmmmmm. A cupcake! I love HAlloween parties! Cooper got to decorate his own little cupcake.
And then eat some of it!
Daddy helped Cooper carve a little pumpkin.
And COoper coloured it.
Since we had no candle, we improved with a flashlight. Good thinking daddy!
Now it’s Halloween. It took some coaxing again to put on the costume, but once Cooper went to the first house it was all over! He knew exactly what to do – “let’s go to another one, mommy!”
Instead of saying “Trick or Treat”, Cooper said “Chocolate Treat!” to everyone that opened the door. Very cute. Then he would say thank-you, and then he would say Happy Halloween, and move onto the next house. He loved it!
Back to the hotel office for an apple after all that candy.
Look at all my loot!
Yum! Cooper got to pick out his favorite one and eat it. He thought that was pretty good.
Happy Halloween everybody. Roooooooooar!!!!
