Last week Cooper got caught in his first rainstorm. Even though the sky looked a little dark, mommy, daddy, Cooper and Phin decided to go just down the street for a little walk. Once we got down the block we realized it was getting darker, so turned for home.
But suddenly it started to rain, and then within seconds it poured down like nothing we’ve ever seen before. We had about a half a block to go, so we started to run. Cooper started to laugh as the rain came down on us and soaked us, and we started to run faster. Then the rain and wind really picked up and started to come down so hard you could barely see. Poor Cooper got scared at this point (as did we all!) and started to cry a little. Thankfully we made it home quick – safe and sound. Boy was it coming down – and did it ever look like a tornado out there!
Thankfully, even though we are soaked, we all got inside safe. And what a fun new experience for Cooper!
Time to dry off now and change our clothes.
