What a hot day out there today!
First we tried to beat the heat by hanging out indoors and practicing our walking and crawling. Cooper even practiced crawling up the stairs for the first time!
Next we tried to beat the heat by letting Cooper play with a bucket full of water, which he loved.
Then, luckily we beat the heat by filling up Cooper’s summer pool and he went for a dip. He LOVED it. He splashed around with a big smile on his face the whole time. He was SOOO excited I thought he might burst wide open!
Afterwards he got nice and dry and cozy and had a terrific sleep. From 10pm to 4:30am in his own crib without any night feedings.
What an amazing start to summer!
