Wow -- does time ever fly!!
It feels like just yesterday he was born.
Cooper got an amazing present today. Grandma arrived just in time for Cooper's birthday, and he was so happy to see her. Poor grandma missed her connecting flight and had to spend the night in the airport. But after 27 hours of travelling she finally arrived. But like a true grandma, she was even more happy to see Cooper, than a bed, and spent the day cuddling her (big!) little grandson. She can't beleive how much he's grown!
We all went to Cooper's pediatrician appointment today. He weighed in at 9 pounds, 12 ounces -- just perfect for his age. But I can't beleive the rate he's growing -- almost 3 pounds since he's been born. He got his first needle today, and cried his little heart out. He did not like that lady sticking him with that thing. Poor little guy! Thankfully daddy rocked him and soothed him down. He was 22 and a quarter inches, longer than most kids for his age. Wonder who he gets the tall gene from??
