We wanted to do something special as a family while Daddy was on parental leave. And Cooper has never been to Niagara Falls or Great Wolf Lodge – so that was the choice of our 2 night trip! We wanted to pick somewhere that wasn’t toooooo far with a little baby, but also somewhere we would remember. And it was quite the success! Grandpa came along too and we all had an amazing (but busy!) time.
Here we are checking into great wolf lodge – even the lobby was fun!!
Everlie approves of the room.
Cooper loves his log cabin hide-away room!
And there is even a bed for Grandpa to bunk in the same room with him. Exciting times!
And down to the waterpark we go. WOW!!!! Cooper loved it!
Everlie loves all the loud waterfall sounds and it didn’t take her long to snuggle into mommy’s chest and fall fast asleep.
Cooper did all the kids waterslides himself and love every one!
Hanging out in the wave pool
The Bridge and all the water sprayers.
Everlie got a little hungry so mommy had to rush out of the pool and give her some milk.
Dinner time!
Then down to the lobby for Christmas carols (complete with falling snow) and story time!
What a great time!
Cooper steals grandpa’s bed
Around six weeks, Everlie started to make great eye contact and coo. Here she is ‘talking’ to Grandpa.
Oh no, not the ‘piggy kiss’!!!
Push over Gramps, I’m coming in!
Something tells me this bed is NOT big enough for two, but Grandpa was a great sport.
A morning snuggle with the family.
Jammer!!! What are YOU doing here. lol.
The skunk bum! STINNNNNNNKY!
And back down to the water park on Day #2. Cooper couldn’t wait to get back to the pool.
And we even discovered a few new pools this time. Cooper loved the lazy river, which went pretty fast for kids. He preferred to swim down the river, instead of raft though.
Cooper cried his little heart out when it was time to leave the pool. I think we’ll definetly have to come back.
Come on Cooper – time to check out, there’s more fun coming!
And we left the hotel and had lunch on route to the next stop….
Niagara Falls – here we come!
