Cooper pulled a new activity out of Jammer’s hat every day during the month of December to do. So here is a random list of everything he did!
- Decorate the Christmas Tree and House and Front Porch.
- Go to the Santa Clause parade.
- Color and Paint his own Christmas Wrapping paper
- Visit a few friends’ houses to sing Christmas carols and hand out cookies and hot chocolate.
- Listen to Christmas music and have a dance party.
- Host a Gingerbread decorating party.
- Take a picture in our Santa hats as a family – the sillier the better.
- Attend a Santa Claus Brunch.
- Host our Annual Wine and Cheese Family Christmas party.
- Take food and toys to a food bank/toy drive and talk about helping others.
- Drive around in the dark and look at Christmas lights.
- Go Christmas shopping together and buy mommy and daddy a gift. Pick out a new family ornament for our tree.
- Read the Children’s story of Jesus being born on Christmas eve.
- Make and Decorate Christmas cookies
- Read the Night Before Christmas
- Have our own little Christmas eve mass to say thank you to god for a wonderful family and Christmas season. Sign Silent Night and Away in a manager.
- Drink Egg Nog and wrap Christmas presents
- Write and mail a letter to Santa
- Buy and read a new Christmas book – Cooper picked out the Grinch that stole Christmas this year.
- Make a pinecone bird feeder and attach a note that says “Merry Christmas birdies!”
- Drink hot chocolate from Christmas mugs with whipped cream and sprinkles and eat Christmas cookies.
- Have a bubble bath by candle-light with Christmas music playing.
- Have a family movie night and watch Christmas movies. Cooper watched 3 this year: Frosty, Rudolph, and the Grinch that Stole Christmas. Frosty was his favorite! He cried really hard the first time when Frosty melted but loved it the next 2 times so much.
- Make pancake breakfast with Daddy
- Call our family members and sign Jingle Bells then hang up.
- Go sledding
He had so much doing all this and more. He LOVED the month of December. Thanks Jammer for the great bag of activities!
