Life Day

 

Two years ago today, Cooper was created in a lab and placed in his dish to grow.   It’s hard to believe that he was created two years ago now.  And here he is, out in the world, the most amazing beautiful happy boy who loves his family so much.  

Life day is hard for us this year, as we are supposed to be celebrating life, when we are also facing the end of life.  The last couple of weeks have been very difficult.  Grandma is getting weaker and much more tired and it’s very hard for all of us to watch and know what is happening because we love her so much and never want to lose her.

But in spite of everything, grandma still loves watching Cooper play and lights up every time he is near.  She is enjoying listening and being with all her family and now, more than ever, we see the beauty and value of life.   Life and family and love is the root of everything.   And so we celebrate life day with our sweet little baby, who reminds of us that the day he was created was a gift to all of us.
