It’s been a difficult couple of weeks leading up to Halloween, with grandma doing her last chemo treatment, Papa having his surgery, and grandma going into the hospital in London, but Cooper doesn’t understand any of that. All he understands is love. He is having so much fun with his grandparents and loves them so much. He makes grandma (and all his grandparents) smile! And they make him smile right back. He says nana and papa clearly now. And he says bampa for grandpa, and momma for grandma. What a sweet little baby he is – he brings us so much joy! His grandma says that he is the light of her life.
Mommy and grandma having a chat on the couch. Grandma came over to see where mommy hung all the paintings she gave her.
Grandpa and Cooper having a little play together… stacking his new blocks.
Out little peanut, loves his bath time with his ducks.

I love you so much grandma!
Grandma and Cooper watching baby Enstien together. Even though Grandma has a tough time getting out and about right now, being with Cooper always makes her smile. She loves nothing better than to cuddle up to her wonderful grandson who she thinks is JUST PERFECT!
Relaxing with his books – one of his favorite things….
Zazu is still one of the favourites!
If he’s none of these things… he must be a DOG!
Checking himself out.
Kisses for the baby!
Here he is with his new rain gear mommy bought him. Which should also fit him in the spring. What a total CUTIE PIE! Ribit!
He’s also learned how to draw on his chalk board and he LOVES it! He draws straight lines and is so proud of himself! He is also very neat and puts the chalk back when he’s done! He even knows how to use the eraser.
Here he is trying to clean the extra chalk dust off the floor – what a total little helper! good boy Cooper.
Halloween didn’t turned out as planned due to everything going on with grandma, but Cooper made the best of it. He put on all his Halloween outfits and had so much fun. Who needs trick or treating! Besides, he isn’t allowed to eat the candy yet anyway.
Here he is in the day outfit that Grandma and Grandpa bought him. Grandpa picked it out all by himself. Good taste grandpa, it’s perfectly scary!
Ringing his wind chimes… ding a ling a ling!
Cooper loves the fall jacket that grandma bought him.
And here he is sporting the Halloween day shirt that nana and papa bought him. What a cute little monster he is!
He always has so much fun with all the new toys at nana’s house.
Cooper and his nana.
What a strong little monster he is.
Sneaky baby…
And here he is with Grandpa – Happy Halloween!
We changed into his duck costume and headed over to the hospital in London to see grandma. Cooper was so excited to go visit grandma and show him the costume she bought him. His favourite – a DUCK!
Mommy and Daddy and our little Duckie. We love you little Duckie – you make our lives so happy, even in the midst of everything going on. You lift us up and make us smile.
Happy Halloween with Nana and Papa. Poor papa is having a tough recovery, but he loves seeing his little Coop dressed up and running around the house.
Mommy’s little Duck.
Grandma loved seeing Cooper all dressed up – it made her whole day. Nothing like a visit from the cutest duck in the world to lift a person’s spirits.
Cooper had fun visiting grandma, and even met a little butterfly, who was 16 months old – two months older than him. She gave him a big kiss and after she left, he did laps around the hospital halls trying to find her again. Calling for ‘babee’ and saying ‘bye-bye’. I think it was his first broken heart! We all had a good laugh and enjoyed watching him show off for all the nurses with his bucket of goodies.
He even made a costume change into his super cooper outfit when the duck outfit got too hot.
And of course, he showed this one off through the halls too.
Afterwards, our little duckie was pooped in Daddy’s arms.
Night night little duckie.
All of us love you so much and want you to know how much you mean to us.
You are perfect in every way.
