Cooper Gets Some New Toys

Cooper got a few new toys to amuse himself. We hope they will also help him look to the left! So far so good -- he seems to love them!

He has been growing and changing like crazy lately, and he is so much more interested in his toys. Here is a glow in the dark Aquarium we got him to look at. The fish swim and it plays lulling sounds. It's to go onto the side of the crib, but since he's not sleeping in his crib yet, for now we are just using it on the ground for him to look at. And he loves it! It really holds his attention. And keeps him to the left (Bonus!)

He has also been using the boppy, as a prop to left his head and see even more of the room. The Physio therapist suggested it as a way to keep him off his back. And he really seems to like it!

Nana and Cooper look in his jungle gym mirror together. We also got him a floor mirror -- which he has connected with a few times. He doesn't see in it all the time, but when he does, and he see's himself, he lets out such a big smile. He totally digs what he sees! Who wouldn't??

His grasp is getting wider as he has unclentched his fists and started to bat his open hands around. He's now able to get his hand around his stuffed toy rattle and hold on. Last week he couldn't hold this object -- it was just too thick. But this week he's holding it no problem!

We've been having so much fun watching him change and grow. It's hard to beleive he's already two and a half months! And actually, it's hard to beleive he's only two and a half months!
