Cooper landed in Denver and went to CCRM to see the place he was created. What an amazing feeling standing in front of the place he was created with him! Thank you for our miracle Dr. Schoolcraft. There are no words….
Mommy and Daddy have decided to do IVF again, in hopes of adding another baby to our family and to try to get Cooper a brother or a sister. Ever since Grandma passed away, mommy has been feeling a real need to grow her family and to create a big happy environment for Cooper to grow up, rather than seeing it get smaller and smaller. So back to CCRM in Denver and the miracle worker Dr. Schoolcraft we go!!
After a few weeks of medication and daily injection, we all travelled to Denver to complete the cycle here. Grandpa came to help watch Cooper, and Uncle Henry is watching Phinnegan at home.
It was so fun to bring Cooper back to the place he was created! What an amazing feeling it was to stand in front of the building he was created with him. If only Grandma was here to experience all this with us, it would be perfect. But we know she is with us in spirit and cheering us on from up above. Hoping for another little member to join our family.
The first night we went to Detroit and stayed over before our morning flight. Cooper LOVES hotels rooms and was so excited to check in!
Brushing with mommy and his new Diego toothbrush!
The plane ride was so different this time – Cooper got his own seat now that he is two! And he did great.
He sat beside daddy the whole time and watched his Dora movie marathon. He didn’t sleep a wink. Or cry. He was PERFECT!
Finally in Denver – Hee-haw! Let’s go try to make a brother or sister for our little guy!
After we checked into our place we hit the road to Red Rock Park to enjoy the great weather.
Daddy is holding on from behind. Much to Cooper’s protests. He wanted to CLIMB all by himself!!! I don’t think so cutie pie – you’re only two!
The next day, after all mommy and daddy’s appointments at CCRM we decided to take another day trip to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a fantastic blue sky day with full sun and 85 degrees! At least it was somewhat cooler in the mountains because we didn’t bring any shorts!
We saw two herds of elk while we were there!
Here’s Cooper enjoying a homemade cookie as a special treat. What a great little town.
Another herd of elk.
Beautiful backdrop.
Grandpa and his little buddy.
On top of the world!
Cooper and Daddy – good looking pair!
Our little cutie pie, hanging out on the mountain!
Hiking up the trail. Cooper pretended he was Dora and was going to the ‘highest mountain’! He he. It was very cute.
He navigated the log steps like a pro! His balance is really great!
A beautiful elk came out to say hi.
Cooper asked me if he could go ‘play with them’. Hmmm.. Why don’t we just look!
Mommy in Denver!
Cooper and Daddy WAAAAAAY up high on the mountain trail.
I think Grandpa wished he brought his fishing pole.
A fun lunch out for Nacho’s and Elk Burgers!
The air is so dry here being 3000 feet above sea level, so here’s mommy moisturizing her little guy. Stay soft and smooth Coop!
The cycle is going great so far, and we’re having fun with our little guy. Cycle details on Mommy’s fertility blog at: http://waywardstork.blogspot.com/2011/10/here-at-ccrm-day-5-monitoring.html
Great photos Lisa! Everyone looks like they're having a great time. So glad you had a chance to get out and explore a bit before the snow hit. Thinking of you guys and your journey each day....
