Cooper & Everlie : Potty Power! Day One

Day One got off to a rocky start –--

Cooper pees more than we thought!!!

** Our plan was to take Cooper to the potty every half an hour throughout the day and then be there to whisk him to the potty if he had an accident in-between.

This is how it went:

MORNING --

We took his diaper off at around 7:45, he had his bottle, and all was good.

8:30 he had a few drops on the floor.

8:45 – Big pee on the floor

8:55 – Little pee on the floor

9:05 – A SUCCESS HIT! A few drops on the floor, then he was whisked to the potty and peed the rest in the potty.

9:10 – A SUCCESS HIT! Peed a little on the floor, whisked to the potty, peed the rest in the potty.

BREAKFAST -

Cooper ate his breakfast, played a while.

10:25 – A SUCCESS HIT! Peed on the floor, was whisked to the potty, did the rest in the potty.

11:15 – A SUCCESS HIT! Peed a little on the floor, was whisked to the potty, did most in the potty.

11:30 – A big pee all over the floor.

** Normally Cooper poo’s around 9:30, but he held it today and hasn’t gone for far yet.

NAP TIME – Put a diaper on Cooper and he went for his regular nap.

2:00 – Wake up from nap, sit on the toilet. No pee.

AFTERNOON

2:15 - Snack

2:30 – Sit on the toilet. No pee.

2:35 – Pee on the floor.

2:50 – SUCCESS HIT. Peed on the floor. Whisked to the potty – did most of the pee in the potty.

3:10 – SUCCESS HIT. Peed on the floor. Whisked to the potty – did most of the pee in the potty.

3:30 – SUCCESS HIT. Peed on the floor. Whisked to the potty – did most of the pee in the potty.

4:00 – SUCCESS HITS. Went into the bathroom – sat on toilet. Watched an IPAD video. Sat for 45 minutes on the toilet! Went 3 very small times while on potty.

4:45 – A few minutes after Cooper got off the toilet, he peed all over the floor. DARN!

5:20 – Sat on toilet before dinner. No go.

DINNER TIME – 5:30

EVENING

6:15 – SUCCESS! Peed on the toilet!! Sat on the toilet for 15 minutes watching a video after dinner, finally peed.

6:30 – Peed on floor. Doh!

7:00 – Peed on floor. We’re all getting TIRED!

7:30 – Sat on toilet before bed. No go. Diaper and Jammies on and into bed for the night.

Half way through the day COoper looked like he was getting cold, so we put a shirt, slippers and leg warmers on him. mommy cut a pair of daddy’s socks to use as the leg warmers.
