Mommy finished Cooper’s playroom downstairs. We turned a couple of areas into play areas, with play shelves, art tables, toys and trainsets. Mommy made large custom bulletin boards for Cooper’s art work. And grandpa helped turn a room under the stairs into an “under the sea” Hide-away with curtains instead of a door!
HOW FUN -- Looks like Cooper has lots of wonderful playtime in his future!
Here’s the Art Area:
Lots of shelves for storage.
A table for Cooper to draw, along with a folding playhouse beside it for fun.
An art table for painting. And above it mommy made a custom bulletin board out of a sheet and a large piece of foam from the hardware store. Plus ribbon and cloths pins instead of tacks that could be dangerous.
Here’s the Toy Play Area:
A kitchen set. A puppet station. A train station. And some random cars and toys.
Monkey stickers, and another large custom bulletin board for artwork.
And here’s the Under the Sea Room:
We took off the door and put up curtains instead.
Mommy painted clouds and a sun on the ceiling. Painted portholes on the walls. And put up fish stickers.
Have fun Cooper – we hope you like your new play spaces!
...cooper you're one sweet & lucky young fella!
ReplyDelete...now i know what's been missing in my life! ...i do believe that this very type of "an under-the-sea room" should be the panacea for all that us older folks suffer from!
...i love you sweet cooper...auntie louise xo
