Cooper is a year and a half today! OH MY GOODNESS, where does the time go!?!?
It’s feels like just yesterday he turned one, and now this!
Cooper went for his last set of shots today – mommy took him and held him and the tears and screams flowed. Poor little guy, but now he doesn’t have to get anymore until he’s five!! WAY COOPER – WAY TO GO!!!
Cooper’s 18 Month Stats came in as follows:
Length: 80.5cm / 31.7 inches – 29th percentile
Weight: 22 pounds - 7th percentile (the doctor said he was a little concerned with his low weight, so he just wanted to keep his eye on it and to make sure he eats lots of healthy food!)
Head circumference: 47cm /18.5 inches - 25th percentile
Now for milestones.
What can I say…. there are so many, I don’t even know where to start! But he’s the top 10 milestones at 18 months.
- He has learned how to climb up on furniture.
- He is practicing a few new words with the CH sound. BEACH is his favorite!
- He can count to three!
- He knows his shapes and can point almost all of them out.
- He likes to ‘go crazy’. Making a funny sound, titling his head to the side, and marching on the spot.
- He can feed himself with a spoon.
- He can run! And he runs everywhere.
- He has hair finally!
- He can point out all the members of his family and name them.
- He understands and follows instructions.
- He can put snap seat buckles together.
- He’s graduating from baby Einstein and Baby Sesame Videos onto more advanced videos with words. He loves Elmo and dancing and singing videos.
Daddy was away in Toronto for Cooper’s 18 month birthday, but will be home to celebrate on the weekend.
We love you sooooooo much Cooper. Happy YEAR AND A HALF BIRTHDAY!
