Wow – it’s hard to believe that Cooper is over a year old now and has been through the whole calendar year once and onto round two. But, this year, Cooper celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving back in Canada – with all his grandparents! We (and he) are so lucky to have shared this holiday with our families – the reason we came home – and the true meaning of life – family! We are blessed beyond belief to have Cooper in our lives and give thanks that we were able to share this holiday together with our families.
First Cooper had thanksgiving with his grandparents in Kincardine, and then had Thanksgiving his his nana and papa and cousins in St. Thomas.
He even enjoyed some Thanksgiving fun with his pal Phin – his new obsession has been walking him around the yard.
He loves pumpkins – especially after growing one in our backyard our summer!
Here he is clowning around our yard the day before Thanksgiving.
Yuck daddy – this dried grass sure is gross!
Enjoying some peanut butter crackers…
Mommy’s table is all set for Thanksgiving dinner with grandma and grandpa.
And after a good meal with his family, he has a good snuggle with his momma!
The next day we all headed out to St. Thomas. We went straight to the hockey arena where Sadie was playing hockey.
Cooper had fun watching in the stands.
Go Sadie go!
The next day he even watched his cousin Grace play hockey, but daddy forgot to bring the camera.
Cooper enjoyed a great fall day with his nana and cousins at the bee farm!
What fun!
Cousin Gracie, showed him some pigs.
He went on a ride with mommy and Sadie.
What a good big cousin Grace is! Soon she’ll be the babysitter.
Checking out the hay and swings in the barn…
And down the slide too.
He loves his cousins and looks up to them so much. Here he is holding Grace’s hand as she leads him around, showing him all the sights.
Look mom – a ball!
Cooper loved his teather ball so much I think we will have to try to rig one up in the backyard for him.
Nana and her grandchildren/
Cooper always loves seeing the tractors.
And here he is petting a cat!
Cooper always stops to smell the roses – a good lesson in life for all of us.
Checks out the goats with his cousin Grace.
And he even got to go on a tractor ride – WOWIE! This is fun!
By the end, he was pretty tired out, but had just enough energy to watch his cousins doing the zip line.
Later that weekend, he had a good snuggle with his papa. Ah – some nice quiet time.
And some more outdoor family fun before Thanksgiving dinner.
And after dinner he had a good snuggle with Grace.
And here he is checking out papa’s office. Oh yeah, and he loves saying nana and papa now. He said it constantly the whole time and he’s so proud of himself that he can say it!
Cooper loves Thanksgiving and all the outdoor fun – but especially the leaves!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I give thanks for such a great big loving family. I love you all!
Thanks Cooper, We love you too!
xoxo
