Cooper is loving being one, and having lots of fun as summer comes to an end.
Cooper enjoys another heat wave down at the beach. He LOVES playing in the sand and no longer tries to eat the rocks!
He hangs out with grandma and grandpa on a beautiful summer beach day!
Hanging with Phin.
Look mom, it’s a flower!
Cooper loves flowers these days and starts sniffing the air everytime he see’s one in anticipation of smelling it. It’s so cute that he knows he’s supposed to smell a flower and he loves to show us that he can!
No playtime is complete without a little cell phone break. He’s a very busy baby you know!
Struting around in his Canada gear.
Mommy’s and daddy went on a date for their 10th Wedding anniversary and Cooper stayed home while grandma and grandpa babysat him and put him to bed.
Then the next night we celebrated as a family with a picnic down at the beach.
Cooper had lots of fun!
And the next day, he had another picnic down at the beach with Grandma and Grandpa in Port Elgin. Grandma wanted to take everyone to Gerry’s before the summer was over.
And Cooper tasted his first french fry!
YUM!
And then he tasted a bite of his first ice-cream cone!
Grandma wanted to take him on the train, but it wasn’t running, so she said she would bring him back another day soon. She wants to make sure he gets a ride before the train is done for the season.
Cooper had a fun night at the park in Kincardine for the Pipe Band Festival. He LOVE the drums!
Playing his pretend stick drums along with the pipe band. This is FUN!
Eating his bananna like a big boy!
Cooper’s first fever. it lasted for nearly 3 days and we took him up to emergency, just to be safe, but the doctor said there was nothing we could do but wait it out and give him tylenol. He was so hot and it was so awful, but thankfully 3 days later, Cooper was as good as new.
Mommy celebrated her 35th birthday and Cooper hung out with grandma and grandpa again while mommy and daddy went on a date – 14 years in a row for lobster dinner – yummy! Maybe one day you’ll join us Cooper.
We love you Cooper – only one more long weekend to go, before Summer is offically over fall begins. Hopefully we still have lots of great weather to come. And even a few beach days left.
