What's Cooper Like at 7 Months Old?

Cooper has had so many new milestones, it's amazing to watch him grow and change every day.

So, what's Cooper like at 7 months old?

Well, here's the run-down on his new milestones!

- He can push himself to a sitting position all by himself easily now.

- He is strong enough to pull himself up to a standing position, using his hands to hold onto our fingers... and up he pulls.

- He can stand holding onto the playpen or back of the couch -- for minutes at a time (with a spotter behind him to catch him when he falls.

- He has started to crawl a few steps on all fours!

- He has said his first word -- da-da! And he says it and says it and says it :)

- He is eating dinner every night with us and so far has tried sweet potato, butternut squash, avacado, apples, bannanas, and prunes.

- He has started to mimick us a little and says brrrmm brrmmm when a car goes by out the window.

- He has started to make funny sounds with his own hands and mouth and knows he's being funny.

- He has started to entertain us and make us laugh and then wait for a reaction.

- He knows his family members and who each person is.

- He has started to make strange to people he doesn't know and cry if they hold him, while scanning the room for mommy or daddy.

- He's starting to grow hair finally! It's coming in slowly but surely and feels fuzzy to the touch.

- He loves peek-a-boo, and loves when people tell him "I see you!"

- He enjoys his books and turning the pages. He loves his bedtime routine and spend a half an hour before bed studying all the pages.

- He loves baby Einstien videos, and no matter how fussy he is, we can turn it on and he will lay down and watch intently and quietly immediately. He especially loves the babies!

- He loves watching his cousins or other babies outside and finds it extremely fascinating.

- His two bottom teeth are almost all the way in, and he's been teething the top teeth all month. They are stubborn though, and even though they are right there, they still haven't come through.

- The only milestone he has not made yet is sleeping through the night!!! Our little guy is worse than ever right now with our change in routine and location. And since Mommy broke down and fed him once, it has become a bad habit of Cooper waking up and eating several times a night.

I'm sure I'm forgetting lots more, but those are most certainly the highlights at 7 months.
