Papa Lights the Olympic Torch!

Cooper and all his family and friends were in high spirits as we watched papa carry and light the Olympic torch on its way from Greece to Vancouver – for the 2010 Winter Olympics. What an amazing and exciting event – and Cooper was there to witness it all. He doesn’t know it yet, but one day he’ll be very proud of his papa! And Cooper even held the Olympic torch himself – who knows, he could be a future gold winner in the making. What an honor it was to be part of it all. And to top it all off – he got to meet all his cousins, ‘the Orillia Waites’, who he was so excited to meet. If only his mom and dad weren’t so sick with this brutal cold bug, we could have had a better visit. But at least he got to meet them and be a part of such an amazing day!
